I understand, don't you?

If my asshole was the size of Sara and Corey’s hot tub, and quotes were proportionate in size to their fuckedupness. This quote would snap my O-ring like a rotten rubber band; quote of the week.

"There's not an American ... that doesn't understand what we are engaged in today and what the prospects are for the future, so why shouldn't we ask all of our citizens to bear some responsibility and pay some price?”

Senator Chuck Hagel arguing that "restoring compulsory military service would force our citizens to understand the intensity and depth of challenges we face”. This all being said during a Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing on post-occupation Iraq.
