I can truthfully say that I do this Blog for me. Because late at night when I’m reading what I wrote earlier that day, even I don’t understand at times what the hell I meant. So if you’re reading something and a general feeling of fuckedupness comes over you, take a few sips of cold water and put your head between your legs. Or breath into a goddamn brown bag for all I care, but the feeling will go away. Trust me on that.
I couldn't resist, this picture is off of Tim Engle's site and he thinks it's most likely some Kansas City Star employees reading my site. I've been sent this picture a couple of times already so I had to put it up. I hope this is the reaction people have when they read my crap.

Personally, I found it necessary to quickly remove the FYI section of the Star from the paper, and destroy it... after I had read the story. The possibility that my spouse would find, and READ what I write in my blog was very painful to think about. SO... I started a very anonymous new blog here... and have password protected my other blog that mentions names, places, etc...
You may not see a huge amount of increased traffic from the story... but since you (as well as myself) write for your own outlet, does the site traffic really matter?
