cracker muthafuckers

We got the fuckin MTV, plasma TV’s, the internet and the ability to talk to muthafuckers thousands of miles away like they were right there in the room with us. We got shit up in space staring down at us and cameras on every street corner watching us. We got shit so technologically advanced that the muthafuckers that built the shit don’t even know why the shit works like it does.

I can sit here at my desk and type on a computer that is hooked to a system god would have trouble hacking into whilst at the same time answering my personal cellphone just by tapping my ear. But even with all this high tech shit this country has to offer we can’t pull our collective fists out of our asses and come up with a reliable voting system?

What the fuck’s up with that bullshit. This is America goddammit, we’re supposed to be the fuckin world leaders at this kind of shit and we can’t come up with a nationwide standardized voting system that fuckin works like it’s supposed too? What a bunch of broke assed punk bitches we must seem.

The system IS working... exactly the way they want it to. The problem is just that back in the day they didn't have all these tabloids and all of us bleeding heart left wing liberals calling for government accountability. So people just went along like good soldiers and did their assigned duties and couldn't for all the tea in China imagine that their government might be less than 100% transparent and honest. So, the system's worked just like it always has; we're just finding out about it now, is all.

Remember what Lenin said: "The people who vote control nothing. The people who count the votes control everything."

As we found out in Florida.

I'm pretty sure it was Stalin that said that, not Lenin.

It's amazing that the United States lags behind over a hundred different countries for voter turnout. It's not that people just aren't showing up, it's that regardless of how we vote, corruption negates the will of the people.

It's for a good reason we're #20 among the top 100 most corrupt countries in the world.

Simple .... the Voting machine Systems are a kluge of crap components and half baked software.
Add to that the fact that most of those "Cracker MFs" can't even press the right button that they wanted without the machine asking if they are sure that's the choice they want....well you see the result.

Crooked or incompetent politicians or government bureaucrats bought a bunch of crap from a company well known for it's second rate quality control and you the tax payer paid for it! Start firing these idiots and don;t stop till they are all gone.

I just say no to incumbents (or incumberts as my mom says) and hope the shit gets counted.

People play politics too much and don’t go with logic.

Satyavati is right.

We USED to be "the fuckin world leaders at this kind of shit".

But then we elected people who chose a "different path".

Look at the intellectual capacity of our Founding Fathers. These guys were scientists, inventors, philosophers, scholars. These guys actually knew things and did stuff. They changed the world.

Yeah, they were also rascist and sexist, but let's just set that aside for a minute and pretend it isn't there. Other than those few little flaws that we are still paying for today, these truly were Great Men.

So we start there.

But then you have over 200 years of pandering to the lowest common denominator every four years and dumbing down the issues to generate visceral, emotional responses in people and blatantly DISCOURAGING any real critical thinking.

The result?

"I'm the decider".

What's the alternative? A giant voting system run by the central government? Talk about power being held by those who count the votes. I prefer local control, the way this country was run for the first couple of centuries. You can scam one big system and control it all, but I can't see controlling hundreds, thousands or tens of thousands of small ones spread out across the country.

Sorry, maybe I'm showing my age, but whenever I see someone wearing one of those ear bugs I can't help buy chuckle while thinking of Lt. Uhura from the original Star Trek

"Hailing frequencies open Captain!"
