I’ve always dug the Dixie Chicks so the other night I found myself smiling as the Dixie Chicks won Grammy after Grammy. They sing like muthafuckers plus play their own instruments which appeals to me no matter the music.

So with that being said I’ve never fully understood the whole deal with “country music” kicking them to the curb and boycotting their music. What the fuck did they do that was so fuckin wrong? They bashed Bush, so fuckin what.

So has a thousand other muthafuckers. The only difference is that the Dixie Chicks did it whilst on stage and overseas and shit. And once they did it, they refused to kowtow and apologize like little slapped bitches.

Suddenly “country music” is accusing them of being anti-war, anti-American and refusing to play Dixie Chicks music on their radio stations. Country Music is saying that the Grammy’s are out of touch because the Chicks aren’t even near the top of any country billboard charts.

Well if you were to ask me I’d be the first to say that “country music” is some whiny cocksuckers and they’re the ones out of touch. First off for a musical genre that considers itself the last bastion of the Red White & Blue and the outlaw come get some spirit, country music doesn’t seem to get it.

All you cowboy hat wearing, Ford and Chevy truck driving, Busch beer drinking, pry my gun from my cold dead hands muthafuckers are always singing and harping about the great American way and speaking your mind and no one tells us what to do.

But when one of your own decided that they didn’t like the way the breeze smelled and called bullshit for what it was. You got all bent out of shape like some Kansas City faggot on a Saturday night.

And instead of patting the Dixie Chicks on the back for speaking their mind and supporting them as your own, country music turned their back on the girls calling em traitors and anti-American.

All they did was do the one thing this country has always stood for. They spoke their minds like true Americans. It’s just too bad that country music is too narrow minded to see it. Come on over to the rock side girls, we’d love to have you.
